Great Rotary Meeting Yesterday

I was invited to present at the Pasadena Rotary Club yesterday, which garnered a lot of interest in JRP, both from possible volunteers and nonprofit partners. I’m fascinated by these networking groups and their relevance to 21st century life. My generation is much less apt to join clubs, and diminishing attendance in civic groups is reflecting that generational change. However, Pasadena’s Rotary Club is strong and active, with over 250 members, and connections around the world, and members who are very involved in community activities. It reminds me of how many great people there are in the world, and so many ways to connect people for the greater good. If you have thoughts on the relevance of civic club, please post comments to Facebook or the JRP blog.
