Volunteer Management Training Opportunity in Inland Empire

The California State Library is hosting a free workshop on Tues. Aug. 28, 9 am – 12 pm, at the Ontario City Library. The topic is policies and procedures when working with volunteers: who writes procedures? what kind of background check should be required of volunteers? how do you train volunteers and train staff is interact and utilize volunteers well?
