New JRP Project: Web Development for Pasadena Village

Volunteer web developers are in short supply; JRP receives many requests for help in updating nonprofits’ websites, and we’re not always able to find the right person. But Pasadena Village ( has good web karma, as we’ve found 2 IT volunteers for them! The Village already has a tech-savvy board member, who has done a great job in developing their website. But he wanted an objective eye and some more formal skills in web development. Ray first took a stab at a few of the tasks needed, and soon Cameron will take up the remaining tasks. We also posted a micro-volunteer opportunity through Sparked and Volunteer LA and got wonderful feedback from about a dozen people to improve the Village website. Thanks to all of the volunteers who have given feedback and time to Pasadena Village, so that they’re well-represented online.
