New JRP Project: Web Development for Pasadena Village

Volunteer web developers are in short supply; JRP receives many requests for help in updating nonprofits’ websites, and we’re not always able to find the right person. But Pasadena Village (www.pasadenavillage.org) has good web karma, as we’ve found 2 IT volunteers for them! The Village already has a tech-savvy board member, who has done a great job in developing their website. But he wanted an objective eye and some more formal skills in web development. Ray first took a stab at a few of the tasks needed, and soon Cameron will take up the remaining tasks. We also posted a micro-volunteer opportunity through Sparked and Volunteer LA and got wonderful feedback from about a dozen people to improve the Village website. Thanks to all of the volunteers who have given feedback and time to Pasadena Village, so that they’re well-represented online.
