Pasadena Emergency Response Training

One year ago, Pasadena woke up to  a natural disaster, a wind storm,  never experienced by most of us.   While many were prepared to be  without  water or electricity; some were caught by surprise.   Many residents used the experience to prepare for any future emergency.

To assist you in your preparation, Councilman Steve Madison’s office and the Pasadena Fire Department are sponsoring another  Pasadena Fire Department P E R T,   Pasadena Emergency Response Training, on February 2, 7:30 am – 12:30 pm in the Rose Bowl Media Room.

Be prepared for an emergency and learn what to do during the first 72 hours after a major disaster:
• Emergency Preparation
• First Aid
• Fire Suppression
• Light Search and Rescue
This free training is for individuals and families but neighborhood groups are encouraged to attend as a team. Please wear comfortable clothing. Light refreshments will be provided.

If you have questions call, the field representative, Takako Suzuki, 626-744-4739 or Lisa Derderian, Program Coordinator for PERT at the Pasadena Fire Department, 626-744-7276.
