If you love live music, Pasadena is the best place to be this weekend in California with the exciting sights and sounds of the sixth annual Make Music Pasadena festival on Saturday June 1.
Up to 35,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Make Music Pasadena, the largest free music festival on the West Coast, with more than 100 bands and groups giving more than 150 free concerts at dozens of venues throughout Pasadena. The all-day, all-ages music festival takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1 primarily throughout the Downtown Pasadena area in the Old Pasadena, Playhouse District and Paseo Colorado areas. For Make Music Pasadena, June 1, the following road closure & event information is provided. The Old Pasadena stage features entertainment from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following streets will be closed from 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
- Colorado Boulevard between Fair Oaks Avenue & Arroyo Parkway
- Raymond Avenue between Union Avenue & Green Street
Entertainment on the Playhouse District stage runs from Noon until 7:00 p.m. Madison Avenue, between Colorado Boulevard and Green Street will be closed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
