New JRP Project: Budget for Pasadena Community Orchestra

Mischa Lefkowitz of the LA Phil performing with the PCO, 2011Pasadena Community Orchestra (www.pcomusic.org) has been providing free classical music for 30 years! They are growing steadily as an organization and are welcoming a new musical director this fall. As part of growth and increased infrastructure, they wanted to take a critical look at their budget to see if it accurately reflects their services and positions them for sustainability. Earl, a new JRP volunteer and Chartered Financial Analyst, is the perfect man for the job. He is very used to assesses a wide variety of businesses for strengths and weaknesses and reviewing budgets and financial statements. He will help them create a budget that reflects the complexities of in-kind donations and grant requirements, but is also accessible to their board. Thanks to Earl for sharing his time and talent, and thanks to PCO for many years of wonderful music!

I wonder if they’ll let me play the triangle at an upcoming concert….
