Events for a Purpose presents IV, to be held on October 5th at 7 p.m. in The Armory Center for the Arts.
This event benefits the charities Rose City Coffee, whose purpose is to revive homeless youth of LA towards social interdependence by empowering them with a vocational skill set, strong work ethic, and positive references, through the communal craft of coffee. Lineage Performing Arts center, which offers free dance classes to individuals with Parkinson, as well as Cancer, Down Syndrome, and several other ailments of the body. They also have a program that seeks to engage with non-profit organizations by helping bring awareness to their individual causes.
The night will feature an Avant Garde fashion show, 4 body painted dance performances that embody what each organization is about and a live graffiti art demonstration by Jessie Castillo. The attire is semi-formal – black and white only.
Charity auction throughout the night, free drinks, and Crepe Studio will be catering the event with $3, $4, and $5 crepes.
