New JRP Project for Women at Work

Women at WorkWomen at Work (www.womenatwork.org) provides great services for women and men who are looking for a job or trying to climb the corporate ladder. During the recession, many other not-for-profit and for-profit businesses started offering training for job seekers too. Now that unemployment has decreased, Women at Work is assessing their offerings to see how they can continue to help people reach their full employment potential. JRP volunteer Kamal, who has a Masters in Nonprofit Management, is conducting a research project for Women at Work to see what other services are out there and how they can partner, adjust costs, or compete with similar services. The results of Kamal’s research will help Women at Work offer the best services around to the widest audience. That result is more prepared employees, more effective business and a better economy for all.
